Most pure aim game8/27/2023 ![]() If I'm playing well, or at least warmed up, it's enough to push past that threshold and be able to play better than the average controller players, and at that point the game is more about planning your fights, game sense, working with your team, etc. That being said, though, I've actually started enjoying it. You just never ever encounter players that are so bad they can't hit you. It's not that the aim assist gives you a huge advantage at any of the higher levels of play, it's that they raised the skill floor for controller players by such a large amount that the absolute worst you can be is still a high bar for a M+K player to keep up with. It's a challenge to keep up with even mediocre controller players, and it just seems ludicrously and very obviously unfair. There's tons of kids and very casual gamers playing, and every single one of them is unstoppably laser beam accurate 100% of the time. This is different in that in every single game I ever play it's such an uphill battle to fight anyone, and uh, no offense, but COD isn't exactly known for it's extremely high skill player base. Being absolutely stomped in some lobbies isn't an unfamiliar experience to anyone who plays FPS games, and sometimes you to respect the skill(or sometimes just luck) other people have. I definitely wouldn't be upset about the basic existence of aim assist, as pretty much every game with crossplay has that, but this is really extreme. ![]() I have 645 hours in aimlab, and I'm 100% not saying that to flex, just to establish that this isn't a "mad cuz bad" situation. There might just not be enough, and with it being so biased against PC players, I can't imagine it's going to attract a lot of new ones. I've been looking at who's using what input in games every time I think to check, and so far at most there's been one other player using M+K in normal 6v6 matches. Yeah, I agree this is a pretty reasonable business decision. ![]()
